In my practice I focus on portraying strong women, simultaneously playing with our understanding of sexuality and our bodies and kinks. Setting this scene I showed the similarities between a horse in bridles compared to a woman in bridles by society, using these bridles for her advantage and illustrated by the Fleet Ilya Horse Mask. Staging her as the rider, naked and vulnerable but strong and independent I propose the power of women over themselves.
